Ludwig is an open-source, declarative machine learning framework that makes it easy to define deep learning pipelines with a simple and flexible data-driven configuration system. Ludwig is suitable for a wide variety of AI tasks and is hosted in incubation in LF AI & Data.

Ludwig allows users to define their deep learning pipeline by simply providing a configuration file, which lists the inputs and outputs, and their respective data types. Ludwig will then assemble and train a deep learning model and based on the configuration file, determine how inputs and outputs are preprocessed, encoded, decoded and which metrics and loss criteria to use.

Ludwig is an incubation-stage project of the LF AI & Data Foundation.
